Focus on Nutrition

One of our strengths is varied and nutritious food planned by our food service coordinator and made from scratch. We participate in the USDA federal food program, CACFP, which provides menu oversight and funding. Children are involved in cooking projects and some vegetable growing. Meals are served family style in the classrooms.DSC_4971

FALL & WINTER LUNCH MENU

  • Tuscan Soup
  • Cheese and Crackers
  • Pears
  • Milk*

FALL & WINTER AFTERNOON MENU

  • Pizza Scones
  • Fruit Juice

 

*Both 1% and whole milk are served at breakfast and lunch, depending on the child’s age. Either 100% fruit juice or water are served at afternoon snack.
