Fundraising Events
Although childcare is expensive, tuition does not cover the full cost of care for your child. Periodically the Center sponsors fundraising events and asks parents to participate in these events. Families and staff generally find these events help us get to know each other better as we work together in a community effort for our young children.
Events held in the past include,
Guest Bartender Night held at the Krebs
Sell for SECC: Enjoy a day shopping local businesses and eateries who have generously agreed to donate 10% of their sales to SECC!
Boon Supply: Shop the eco-conscious product mix, seasonally designed and sustainably sourced.
With every purchase you give 40% back to SECC.
Silent Auction: Our largest fundraising event!
Meatless Monday: Let us do the cooking for you! Skipping meat for only one day a week is not only good for you, but it helps improve our nation’s health and is a great way of bettering the planet. Several nations across the world have taken to choosing a no-meat meal at the beginning of the week and SECC would like to help promote a healthy lifestyle right here at home.
Giving Tuesday: Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
SECC participates in Giving Tuesday with a 24-hour giving campaign, which occurs the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and kicks off the giving season. #GivingTuesday
